My background is in customer service and being a marriage celebrant is the culmination of all that experience.
What more satisfying work could I do than helping people celebrate the special days in their lives?
My background includes:
> working in customer service for Qantas for 15 years
> running a corporate design business
> completing a Life Coaching course
> membership of Toastmasters International
> copywriting, proofreading and editing
> operating a tour guiding service around Sydney (go to www.mysydneyguide.com.au)
> creating humorous tributes for special occasions
> current member of my local bushfire brigade for 20 years
As your celebrant my job is to ensure that all goes smoothly on the day and I enjoy working with other suppliers such as planners, caterers, venues. photographers etc. to make it ll happen.
I come equipped with a portable PA system, as well as a table and chair for signing. Last-minute emergencies are also catered for - from breath fresheners to sewing kit, from tissues to sticky tape and clips, to make sure that nothing detracts from the big day.
Languages spoken
I am able to converse in Spanish, so if you would like part of your ceremony in Spanish, just let me know! With other languages I encourage you to have me perform the Giving Away, for example, in your parents’ native tongue. While I am not fluent in any language I am able to pronounce the words from other languages effectively, with your help!
River Celebrations
Living on the lower Hawkesbury River I am perfectly placed to make my own way to your celebration if you are planning to have it on the river. I have my own boat so you will not need to organise my transport to the venue.
